My favorite LYS has a website! Yarn! is a terrific store. Friendly, helpful folks; yarns to die for; incredible selection; and lots of needles & other supplies, too.
I know the site is sparse, but it contains what I was looking for: the hours, phone number, and yarnmakers.

I want to know why yarn stores are closed Monday! Yarn, Article Pract (a lovely store in Oakland on Telegraph) and Stash (the new one on Solano that I keep being right next to on frigging Monday!).
